Privacy — CPE Drive Intake
Effective 2 October 2026. CPE Drive Intake is a personal application operated by Kav Moodaley.
Information accessed
With the owner's consent, CPE reads Drive file and folder identifiers, names, revisions, MIME types and supported file content in the configured CPE folder tree. OAuth credentials are used only to maintain authorized Drive access.
Use and storage
The information is used to discover and capture research sources, extract text or transcribe media, retain citations, and present research through authenticated CPE dashboards. Protected application credentials and control records remain on the private VM. Media may be stored on the owner's NAS. Captured copies, derived research and backups may remain after the original Drive file changes or is deleted.
Processing and disclosure
The app uses configured local or self-hosted processing. If the owner explicitly authorizes a third-party processing service for an eligible input, that service receives only the input needed for the authorized task. Private entitlement and Personal/SMSF boundaries apply. Google Drive data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models. Accessed Drive content is not made public by this information website.
Control and retention
The owner can revoke Google access through their Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not erase retained captures or backups. Removal of retained data is handled separately by the owner through the application's supported maintenance procedures; there is no automatic deletion schedule.
